Welcome to the Agents' Section of the BCSRA Website!

The BC Sports Rep Association, a non-profit society, was formed to unify agents and representatives in the general sporting goods industry throughout the Province. Members of the Association travel in B.C. as a territory.

The Association hosts two buyer markets per year, providing high-profile opportunities for members to exhibit and sell their products to retailers.

In order to exhibit at our Shows, you must be a member.

Note that only individuals (agents) can become members of the BCSRA, not agencies or companies. This means that the membership is non-transferable to other employees of the agency. Should an agent who is member of the BCSRA leave an agency, then the agent remains a member of the BCSRA, not the agency.


  • Representation in each Show Directory that the agent participates in
  • Searchable content on the BCSRA website - so retailers can search you by agent name, or line carried etc.
  • Show promotion to over 1500 retailers
  • Services of the Secretariat office and show staff
  • Advertising opportunities

Simply complete the online application form. Once your application is approved, we will contact you with instructions on how to pay the below fees:

- Initiation fee: $258.75, plus tax - this is a one time fee
- Annual dues: $105.00, plus tax

Please note that all potential members are required to pay an initiation fee, as well as the annual dues per year. Thereafter only the annual dues must be paid.

Once we have processed your application and payment, you will receive all correspondence sent out of the BCSRA office, including your registration form for each show.

Should you miss paying your membership dues for one year, you will be asked to pay $210.00 for Lapsed Membership ($105.00 for the current year plus $105.00 for the previous year).

Should you miss paying your membership dues for two or more years, you will be asked to pay $255.00 for Reinstatement Membership ($105.00 for the current year plus a $150.00 reinstatement fee).

All the above amounts are subject to tax.

The Show Directory and the website listings are the Association's most valuable marketing tools. Both list the many agents involved in the Show, along with their contact information and lines represented.

Every retailer attending the Show receives the book, which provides valuable assistance in arranging appointments during the Show - and it serves as a useful reference afterwards. And any time, retailers can search agents on the website.

Advertising is an important part of our show book. This is an excellent opportunity to advertise at an economical price to a very targeted audience.
