The BC Sports Rep Association (BCSRA) is a non-profit society dedicated to unifying sales agents and representatives within the British Columbia sporting goods industry. Our members travel and operate throughout British Columbia and the wider Western Canadian territory.

To support our community, we host three buyer markets each year (Winter, Summer and Fall Shows). These high-profile events give members an exclusive platform to exhibit and sell their products directly to retailers.


Please note that membership is strictly required to exhibit at our shows.


Membership Ownership & Rules

  • Individual-Only Memberships: Memberships are granted solely to individual agents—not to agencies, brands, or companies.
  • Non-Transferable: Because memberships belong to the individual, they cannot be transferred to other employees or colleagues.
  • Tied to the Agent: If an agent leaves an agency, the BCSRA membership stays with the agent, not the company.


How to Become a BCSRA Member

Apply Online
Simply complete our online application form. Once approved by the Board, we will email you instructions on how to pay your fees.


Membership Fees
All new members pay a one-time initiation fee plus annual dues. After your first year, you only pay the annual dues.

  • Initiation Fee: $300 (One-time)
  • Annual Dues: $200 (Per year)

 Note: All fees are subject to applicable taxes.

 

Once your application and payment are processed, you will receive an invitation to access your member portal, where you can create your agency profile and register for upcoming shows.

Membership Renewal Policy & Fees

Annual membership renewals are due October 1st.

  • December 31st (Account Paused): If you do not renew by December 31st, your account and system access will be temporarily paused until your renewal is completed.
  • Missed 1 Year (Lapsed): $350 total. If you miss a full year of membership, you must pay the current annual fee ($200) plus a lapsed fee ($150) to restore access.
  • Missed 2+ Years (Reinstatement): $400 total. If your membership remains inactive for two or more years, you must pay the current annual fee ($200) plus a reinstatement fee ($200) to reactivate your account.


About the Member Directory

The Member Directory and Show Book are the BCSRA’s most powerful marketing assets. Both platforms showcase our attending agents, providing retailers with direct contact info and a comprehensive list of represented brands.

Every attending retailer receives a copy of the printed directory. It serves as an essential tool for scheduling appointments during the show—and remains a highly valued reference guide all year long. Plus, retailers can search our active agent database on the website anytime.
